Gourmets for God is CSLGJ’s popular annual community-building fund raiser.
G4G kicks off early each year with members of the community creating events that they will host. The hosts cover all the costs of the event. Most events involve food, hence the term “Gourmets.” The important focus of the events is on FUN! as people get to know each other better.
Descriptions of the events are publicized for a couple of weeks. Then, in a silent auction that lasts a few weeks, community members bid on the events they would like to attend. Bidding gets rather competitive since seating is limited for most events.
